My clients reached out in February of 2022 to list their home for sale. The home was nicely updated, but it was a hoarder home which made it challenging. It took months of helping them declutter and clean the home before it was officially on the market in May.
Plenty of buyers came through, and the home received one low offer. The home went on hold to do more decluttering, yet it still needed more. I did not want my clients to leave money on the table, so I encouraged a new plan in August to completely empty the living room and stage it myself. They were on board and excited. I brought in furniture and accessories and transformed the room into a beautiful setting
Once it returned to the MLS we had a busy week of showings and received an offer over the list price in September 2022. Buyers saw the value with the new staging and it showed off the upgrades my clients had put in.
